Hindus are continuously being targeted in Canada and Bangladesh. Sometimes temples and sometimes their houses are being damaged. Meanwhile, Indian Americans in Silicon Valley took out a rally to show their solidarity towards Hindus.
Addressing a large gathering of Indian Americans at Milpitas City Hall, prominent community leaders spoke about the attacks on Hindu minorities. Also urged US leaders to condemn human rights violations and hold the governments of Canada and Bangladesh accountable for the protection of their Hindu minority populations.
The Bay Area is home to more than two lakh Indian Americans. It is being told that the people participating in the rally expressed disappointment over the lack of proper investigation into the attack on devotees at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton.
In the rally, people raised slogans like stop Khalistani terrorism, protect Canadian-Hindus, stop Islamic terrorism, protect Bangladeshi-Hindus. He said, ‘We have seen videos of Khalistani supporters entering the temple premises and beating men, women and children. It is horrifying to see that Hindus who had gone to celebrate Diwali are being chased by them.
He said, ‘We saw that the police were already in collusion with Khalistan supporters and were beating Hindu devotees. In Canada, freedom from violence is being framed as freedom of expression. We have lost confidence in the Trudeau government to protect the basic human rights of Canadian Hindus.
Criticized the attacks being carried out by Khalistanis on Hindus in Canada and fundamentalist groups in Bangladesh. He said that we are one world, one family, one future.
Pushpita Prasad of the Coalition of Hindus in North America expressed concern over her team in Canada being targeted by Sikhs for Justice.
