An Australian woman has accused Nikhil of rape. Now this matter has reached the court and the case will proceed in the District Court of Townsville.
However, Nikhil has termed the allegations as completely baseless. Nikhil plays for Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League. The matter has been reported to be of May 2021. The woman had alleged that Nikhil had harassed her during the night out.
Friends were in tension
According to the information, the woman has alleged that the incident took place in the car. The age of the victim is said to be 20 years. Details related to the incident say that the woman met Nikhil on the dance floor of The Bank Night Club. Here both of them danced and even kissed each other.
Then at night both of them went out together in the car. According to the victim’s friends, he became tense after seeing her leaving in the car. Later, when the doors of the car were opened, the woman was crying. During this time, she told her friends about being raped.
The relationship was not consensual
According to the nurse who conducted the forensic test of the woman, the kiss between Nikhil and the woman was with mutual consent. However, the relationship was not consensual.
He also said that the victim had suffered internal injuries. The statement of the victim’s mother has also come in the case. He told that on May 23, he had received a call from his daughter early morning. During this time she was crying and talked about being beaten.
During this time she had told that she was with the police and was going to the hospital. During this time, the daughter had told her mother that she had met the boy and when she sat in his car, he followed her.
