New Delhi . India has become the third most powerful country in the Asia Power Index by surpassing Japan. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India gave this information on Wednesday. The ministry said that India’s position has improved due to India’s rapid economic development, young population, and expansion of the economy. It also reflects India’s growing credibility in the world.
The ministry said in a statement that in a major change, India has overtaken Japan to become the third most powerful country in the Asia Power Index. This reflects India’s growing credibility around the world. The Asia Power Index was started in 2018 by the Lowy Institute. In this, a list of powerful countries in the Asia Pacific region is prepared on an annual basis. In this, the status of 27 countries of Asia Pacific is assessed.
Due to these reasons, India’s reputation is increasing in the world
The ministry said that the Asia Power Index has shown that India’s position in the list of regional powers is continuously improving and India’s influence is also increasing. The most important factor in India’s rise is its economic development. The ministry said that India made a tremendous economic recovery after the Corona epidemic, due to which India’s economic capabilities increased by 4.2 points. Its large population plays an important role in the economic development of the country and due to strong economic growth rate, India is moving towards becoming the third largest economy in the world.
India’s young population is our strength
India also has a demographic advantage over its regional rivals China and Japan. While China and Japan are struggling with their aging population, India has a huge young population, which will continue to strengthen its economic growth in the coming decades. India’s presence in the Quad and various global organizations has also increased India’s influence in the world of diplomacy. In the Asia Power Index, the strength of any country is assessed on the basis of its economic potential, military potential, future resources, economic partnerships, defense network, diplomatic influence and cultural influence.
