Taking immediate initiative for this auspicious work, Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh invited the school children of Government New Primary School Dharampura on the occasion of his birthday.

Dr. Gaurav Singh reached school with his family this morning and first of all he worshiped Goddess Saraswati. After that he reached among the children and made them sit in a row and served plates one by one.

After that, puri, vegetable, dal, rice and kheer were served, not only this he kept going to the children and after asking their preferences, served the dishes again and finally fed cake to the children.

Along with him, SP Santosh Singh, DFO Vishweshwar Rai, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra and District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep also served food. Also, the Collector sat among these school children and had lunch with his wife Dr. Sunita Singh and two children Aadya Singh and Akshara Singh.

While eating the meal, happiness was visible on the faces of the children, they lit up and lovingly went to the collector and gave flowers as a gift.

Not only this, he thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, School Education Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal and the Collector. He also got excited and expressed his desire to become a collector.

In this happy moment, Mrs. Bunda Bai Sahu congratulated the Collector on his birthday by singing Sohar song. Mrs. Sahu is the president of Saraswati Mahila Group. She has been supplying food to the school ever since the mid-day meal scheme was started.
