Iran enraged over demand for ambassador’s expulsion, summons Australian ambassador

Tehran. The Iranian Foreign Ministry has summoned Australia’s ambassador over his partisan approach to recent developments. Iran took this step when Australian PM Anthony Albanese condemned Iran’s missile attack on Israel. According to media reports, Australia’s opposition leader had demanded to expel the Iranian ambassador to Australia.
In the report, Ali Asghar Mohammadi, Director General of the East Asia and Oceania Department at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, protested the Australian government’s unfair and biased stance at the meeting. He criticized Australia’s silence regarding Israeli military actions in Gaza and Lebanon. He reiterated Iran’s call for Israel to immediately stop its massacre in Gaza and attacks in Lebanon and called on Australia and other Western supporting countries to play a responsible role.
Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Ministry had also summoned the German and Austrian ambassadors, when these countries had called the Iranian envoys and expressed their protest against Tehran’s missile attack on Israel. On October 4, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei described Tehran’s attacks on Israel as completely legal and legitimate. On the night of October 1, Iran fired hundreds of missiles at Israel.
Tehran says the bombing was in response to the killings of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniya, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and General Abbas Nilforoushan. Iran has always been supporting Hamas and Hezbollah. A few hours after the Iranian attack, Israel’s PM Netanyahu had said during the security cabinet meeting that Iran has made a big mistake tonight and it will have to pay the price for it. There is an uproar in the whole world regarding this. Lest this fight become big.
