Israel, which is engaged in eliminating Hamas through all-out attacks, has now come up with another new trick.
The Israeli Army has ordered pumps and through them water is being filled in the bunkers and tunnels built by Hamas.
The Israeli army says that with such action, either Hamas fighters will come out of the tunnels or they will be killed inside.
According to a Wall Street report, in mid-November the Israeli army had ordered 5 pumps in northern Gaza. Through these, thousands of cubic meters of water was filled in some tunnels within a few hours.
Now Israel has decided to intensify this action. However, it is not clear whether Israel will take this action in entire Gaza before the release of all the hostages or not.
The reason for this is that Israel says that Hamas has hidden the hostages in safe places and tunnels. In such a situation, the tunnel will be filled with water or we will have to wait till the hostages are released.
Brainstorming is going on regarding this. An American official said that this strategy is correct. It is necessary to weaken Hamas and for that every means will have to be adopted.
However, Israel’s Defense Ministry has not said anything regarding this. When asked about this, the Israeli Defense Forces did not say anything about filling the tunnels with water.
However, it was definitely said that we are engaged in eliminating Hamas. Different methods will be adopted for this. Israel had informed America about this only last month.
However, not much has been disclosed about this plan and only officials close to Benjamin Netanyahu have been given the responsibility for it. This is the reason why Israel is neither rejecting nor accepting it.
