Tel Aviv. Israel targeted Muhammad Sarour, the head of Hezbollah’s drone unit in the Lebanese capital Beirut. It is believed that Muhammad Saroor has been killed in this attack. This attack was carried out on a special floor of a multi-storey building in Daheeh, Beirut. Israel says that Hezbollah’s drone commander was hiding at this place. Army Radio said the attack was considered successful.
Lebanon’s Hezbollah-linked news outlet Al Mayadin claimed that four people were killed and several others were injured in the attack. Lebanese media reported that the building was hit by three separate missiles. Dahieh is a southern suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, known as a stronghold of the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah.
Following reports of the attacks, rocket sirens sounded in the Israeli neighborhoods of Odem and El Rome in the northern Golan Heights. The IDF later identified the siren as a false alarm. The IDF confirmed the attack on Beirut at 3:13 pm. At 4:00 pm, Hezbollah announced that in addition to the southern suburbs of Beirut, between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm, Israel struck the Lebanese neighborhoods of Aita al-Jabal, Toul, Shahour, Houmeiin al-Fouka, Attacked in Mahrouna, Qana, Ainatha, al-Tairi, Ansariya-Adloun area, Taybeh, Armata, Majdal Sillam, al-Jumayzama, Jabal al-Rayhan Heights, Mashghara and Shakra.
