Just before the anniversary of the Hamas attack, several rockets have been fired from Gaza into Israel.
Earlier, a terrorist attack also took place in Israel on Sunday, in which at least one person died, while ten people were injured.
The Israeli Army has said that rockets have been attacked in southern Israel from northern Gaza.
Last year, Hamas launched a terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, in which many people were brutally killed and many were taken hostage. Due to the first anniversary, there is alert throughout Israel.
“Several rockets were identified entering Israeli territory from the northern Gaza Strip,” the Israeli military said in a statement. One rocket was stopped in the air, while the remaining rockets fell in empty areas.
Earlier, on Sunday morning, Israel carried out an airstrike on a mosque in central Gaza. Palestinian officials said at least 19 people were killed on Sunday morning.
The attack in Gaza hit a mosque where displaced people were sheltering near the main hospital in the central city of Deir al-Balah.
Four more people were killed in another attack on a school housing displaced people near the city. The Israeli military said both attacks targeted terrorists.
Hospital records showed that all those killed in the attack on the mosque were men, while one other person was injured.
