Beirut/Tel Aviv. The Israeli army said it would soon launch operations in Lebanon’s southern coastal area. The army has advised Lebanese people to stay away from beaches. According to news agency RKK, fishermen have been warned not to go to the area up to 60 kilometers adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea. The Israeli military said they hit more than 120 Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon within an hour on Monday. According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, at least 10 firefighters died in this attack. Apart from this, many people are still buried under the debris.
Along with air strikes, the Israeli Army is also carrying out ground operations against Hezbollah positions in South Lebanon. During this period, two Israeli soldiers died on Monday. So far 11 Israeli soldiers have lost their lives in the ground operation in Lebanon. On the other hand, the Israeli Army said that Hezbollah fired 190 rockets on Monday. At least 9 people have been injured in this. Apart from this, basic services have been damaged. The Israeli military said that direct attacks were made on the highway and several houses.
Peacekeeping forces demand ceasefire in Lebanon
The United Nations peacekeeping force in Lebanon has demanded immediate ceasefire. UN peacekeeping forces said many people were dying every day. People’s houses are being destroyed. Dialogue is the only way to restore peace in the area. The time to start it is now. United Nations peacekeeping forces have been deployed in South Lebanon since 1978. Its job is to try to prevent conflict between Lebanon and Israel.
China will start medical supplies in Lebanon
China’s Foreign Medical Aid Agency said on Tuesday that China will soon start providing emergency medical supplies to Lebanon. The agency said that many people have been affected by the escalating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. China is going to provide medical services at the request of the Lebanese government. The Israeli military said it killed Hezbollah headquarters commander Suhail Hussein Husseini in an attack on Beirut on Monday. Husseini was responsible for bringing weapons from Iran and delivering them to Hezbollah’s men. Hezbollah has not yet given any information about Hussaini.
