Indian Ambassador to Israel Reuven Azar reached Ayodhya on Wednesday morning and had darshan of Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
He arrived with his wife to see Ramlala. During this, he also talked to many devotees present on the spot.
He said that Israel has always respected the culture of India and it is also a great medium for people to connect with each other.
Reuven Azar said that it is an honor for me to have the privilege of coming to Ayodhya and seeing Lord Ram. I am also overwhelmed by coming here and seeing the devotees who come in such large numbers every day.
He said, ‘The people of Israel and India have been together since ancient times. Their culture, heritage and traditions are ancient. Just as we are proud of our heritage, you too are proud of your heritage.
This is very important because only the feeling of dedication and pride gives you strength. That is why I have come here and seen how people feel about devotion to Lord Ram.
He also spoke in hints on the struggle over the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
The Israeli ambassador said, ‘As we say, location matters a lot. This is because it is not a matter of imagination.
Things have happened here in history and people remember them every day. Year after year that tradition continues and becomes a part of our daily life.
As ambassadors of Israel, it is important that we come here and see God. Apart from this, met people.
I have come here with my wife and have tried to understand Indian culture deeply. The Israeli official had also met UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday.
