36 Palestinians were killed in multiple Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.
Officials gave this information on Saturday. According to Nasir Hospital, 11 members of the same family, including two children, were killed in an Israeli air strike in Khan Younis city on Saturday morning.
A total of 33 bodies were brought to the hospital, officials said, of those killed in three separate attacks in Khan Younis and surrounding areas.
The city’s Al-Aqsa Hospital said the bodies of three more people killed in Saturday morning’s attack had been brought in.
Nasser Hospital said another 17 people were killed in an attack on a road south of Khan Younis. The Israeli military said it was investigating the reports but had no immediate comment.
The war in Gaza began on October 7 when Hamas and terrorists suddenly attacked Israel, killing about 1200 people, mostly civilians.
Hamas still has about 110 hostages
More than 100 hostages were released during last year’s ceasefire, according to Israeli officials. Hamas is still believed to be holding about 110 hostages, about a third of whom are dead.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees warned on Friday that delays in humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip could increase the risk of an outbreak of polio among children.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said there were inadequate arrangements to bring vaccines to Gaza and maintain the cold chain.
Vaccines should go into the mouth of every child under the age of 10.
