Tel Aviv. Attacks on Hezbollah targets by the Israeli military (IDF) continue, with more than 200 targets being bombed. The IDF claims that about 60 Hezbollah fighters have been killed in the operation. An Israeli strike has claimed to have killed 15 Hezbollah fighters hiding in the town hall of Bint Jbeil, where the town hall was being used for weapons storage.
The Israeli military has also attacked Hezbollah fighters through drone strikes, targeting two fighters who opened fire in one area. The IDF said the recent airstrikes have targeted several Hezbollah buildings, weapons depots, checkpoints and other infrastructure.
Let us tell you that this is the fourth time that Israeli forces have landed on Lebanese soil, the last time being in 2006 after a 34-day war. But this time the Israeli Army is calling it a limited ground operation, in which the Air Force is also actively involved. Israel says it will not occupy Lebanon for long, but the situation is extremely serious and the conflict continues in urban warfare conditions.
