Tel Aviv. The Israeli army has claimed that Fatah Sherif, the head of the Lebanon branch of Hamas, has been killed. IDF wrote in a post on social media According to the Israeli military, Fatah Sherif was responsible for facilitating Hamas terrorist activities in Lebanon by working closely with Hezbollah operatives, as well as Hamas’s efforts to recruit operatives and acquire weapons in Lebanon.
The IDF further stated that Fatah Sherif was also a member of an accredited United Nations Relief and Works Agency, and was the head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency Teachers Association in Lebanon. The IDF and ISA will continue to act against anyone who poses a threat to the citizens of the State of Israel.
