Amidst the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Army has penetrated several kilometers inside Lebanon and carried out air strikes.
Lebanese sources said that Israel conducted an airstrike west of the Lebanese city of Baalbek on Monday.
At least two Hezbollah terrorists were killed in this attack. It is being told that this is Israel’s biggest attack in Lebanon since the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
The Israeli military said it was attacking Hezbollah positions deep inside Lebanon, but gave no further details.

Lebanese television station Al-Jadid broadcast images of plumes of smoke rising from the area.
Hezbollah has been attacking Israeli targets along the Lebanese-Israeli border since its October 7 attack on Israel by its Palestinian ally Hamas, which it has said is part of a campaign to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier on Monday, Hezbollah said it had shot down an Israeli Hermes 450 drone over Lebanese territory using a surface-to-air missile, the second time it has announced the downing of this type of unmanned aerial vehicle. Is.

This is the worst violence between Israel and Hezbollah since the 2006 war. Nearly 200 Hezbollah fighters, in addition to about 50 civilians, have been killed in Lebanon in Israeli strikes since October last year.
