Israeli tanks reached near Lebanon border, strike on Hezbollah is not stopping

New Delhi. After the death of Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah, Israel deployed tanks on the border with Lebanon on Sunday. Aljazeera has also released their pictures. The US Defense Ministry has said that it was aware of the attack on Nasrallah. Israel had informed him after the fighter planes took off for the operation. However, Israel has claimed that it had sent a message to America even before starting the operation. On the other hand, even after Nasrallah’s death, Israel continued attacks in Lebanon on Saturday.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry said that 33 people died in these attacks, while 195 were injured. Israel has claimed that after Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, it has killed one of its prominent leaders and a top commander. Top Hezbollah commander Hassan Khalil Yassin was killed in an airstrike in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Saturday, according to the IDF. Apart from this, Hezbollah’s top leader Sheikh Nabil Kouk has also been killed by the IDF. Hezbollah has not yet issued any statement regarding Kouk, but its supporters have been posting condolence messages for Kouk since yesterday.
Hasan used to work in missile and drone unit
The Israeli military (IDF) said Commander Hassan Khalil Yassin was leading a Hezbollah intelligence unit tasked with carrying out attacks targeting Israel. The IDF claimed that Yassin worked closely with Hezbollah’s missile and drone units and was personally involved in terrorist plots against civilians and soldiers since the beginning of the war. According to the IDF, he also planned additional attacks on the Jewish state in the coming days.
