Guwahati . Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made big announcements. First, soon only those people who are born in Assam will get government jobs in Assam. Second, the guilty in the case of love jihad will be given life imprisonment.
Third, the Assam government has also taken a decision regarding the sale of land between Hindus and Muslims. Although the government cannot stop it, it has been made mandatory to take the consent of the Chief Minister before buying and selling. Sarma said these things in the state executive meeting of BJP.
Sarma said in the meeting that as per the promise made in the elections, priority has been given to the people of Assam in one lakh government jobs. Under which only people born in Assam will be eligible for state government jobs. A new domicile policy will be issued soon in this regard.
