This essay has gone viral on social media. A guest article written by Imran in The Economist on 4 January indicated that he had serious doubts about whether the upcoming elections would be held or not.

However, he remains in jail following other cases registered against him. In his article, Imran Khan has reiterated the allegations that last year due to pressure from the US government, a no-confidence motion was brought against him and there was a change of power. He also wrote that the May 9 riots were a “false-flag campaign” and “pre-planned.”

According to Pakistan newspaper Dawn report, an editor’s note at the end of Imran Khan’s article said that the Pakistan government and the US State Department denied the allegations of US interference, saying that the government would prosecute him under the Official Secrets Act. Has been.

Although sources within the party are hesitant to comment on how this article could have reached the newspaper from inside the jail, they insisted that these words were actually Imran’s own.

Acting Information Minister Murtaza Solangi later said that the government would write a letter to the editor of the British newspaper about the matter. Imran may be referring to the party’s upcoming online gathering on social media platform TikTok.
