Joint military exercise ‘Vajra Prahar’ between India and US armies in America

New Delhi . The 15th edition of the joint military exercise ‘Vajra Prahar’ between the Indo-US armies will be held at the Orchard Combat Training Center in Idaho, USA. Special forces of the Indian Army and the US Army are taking part in this exercise which will run from November 2 to November 22. Let it be known that the main objective of the joint military exercise is to increase military cooperation between the armies of the two countries, improve joint operations and exchange special operations strategies.

This joint exercise reflects the growing partnership between the two countries and their commitment to address common security challenges. During this period, special operations will include exercises like anti-terrorist strategies and airborne missions, landing of troops from high altitude, penetration through water, precision targeting of remote targets and air control. Soldiers will also be trained to maintain operations in difficult conditions, strengthening their preparedness for global security situations.

US special forces conducted various exercises
It may be noted that last year, Vajra Prahar was organized in Umroi, Meghalaya, where Indian and American special forces conducted various exercises. This partnership, which began in India in 2010, carries forward a strong legacy. Since 2010, this exercise is being conducted every year on rotation basis between the two countries and is acting as a strong platform where best strategies are exchanged.
