Justin Trudeau changed after being reprimanded by India, said- did not even take the names of Modi and Jaishankar…

Canada’s Justin Trudeau government on Friday categorically denied linking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to any criminal activity in Canada.

Nathalie G. Drouin, national security and intelligence adviser to the Prime Minister of Canada, said in a statement, “The Government of Canada has not provided, and does not have, any evidence linking Prime Minister Modi, Minister Jaishankar or NSA Doval to serious criminal activity within Canada.” Have Information.”

This statement has come at a time when some media reports and opposition parties tried to link the names of these Indian leaders with criminal activities in Canada.

The Canadian government also clarified that there is no concrete evidence for these allegations and called for avoiding such allegations that could create tension in bilateral relations.

India had reprimanded
Earlier, India on Wednesday strongly condemned a Canadian media report claiming Prime Minister Narendra Modi had information about an alleged plot to assassinate Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, calling it a defamatory campaign.

Referring to this news quoting an unnamed official, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said such ‘ridiculous statements’ should be rejected in the manner they deserve.

“We generally do not comment on media reports,” he said. However, such ridiculous statements purportedly made by a Canadian government source to a newspaper must be rejected

“Such defamatory campaigns further damage our already strained relations,” he said.

He was reacting to the news of Canadian newspaper ‘The Globe and Mail’. In the news, the newspaper has cited a senior national security official.

It has been claimed in the news that India’s National Security Advisor and Foreign Minister were also aware of this conspiracy.

Nijjar was shot dead last year. India has rejected all the allegations made by Canada in this matter.
