Now the veteran Congress leader has alleged that Kangana Ranaut eats beef, yet BJP gave her the ticket. BJP has retaliated on these allegations.
Leader of opposition in Maharashtra Assembly Vijay Wadettiwar has alleged that BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Mandi seat of Himachal Pradesh and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut had recently said that she eats beef.
According to a report by news agency PTI, the Congress leader said that BJP gave the ticket to Ranaut, who had written on the X that she likes beef and eats beef.
BJP’s counterattack
On the Congress leader’s allegations, BJP spokesperson Keshav Upadhyay reacted to Wadettiwar’s comment and said it reflected the “dirty culture” of the Congress. “This shows the dirty culture of Congress,” PTI quoted him as saying. She cannot fight with us on issues. This reflects the defeatist mentality of the party.”
Congress accused of being anti-women
BJP leader Shaina NC accused Congress of being “anti-women” and also cited the post uploaded by party leader Supriya Shrinet on Kangana Ranaut and comments made by MP Randeep Surjewala against her counterpart Hema Malini.
Shaina NC said, “If the Congress party is so weak in any thought process, then I think a befitting reply will be given on June 4 when the women of India will speak and vote against this anti-women party called Congress.”
