Praying daily for the safety of loved ones
Ajaz Ahmed Haji, a resident of Saida Kadal in Srinagar’s hinterland, said his brothers – Imran Hussain and Bilal Ahmed – are pursuing religious education in Iran.
“I have not spoken to my brothers for the last four days and I am worried,” he said. It is the responsibility of the Indian government to keep its citizens living abroad safe.
“I pray to God that my brothers are safe and I also pray for the people of Iran,” he said.
