Kedarnath Dham doors closed – NNSP

Dhaka. The doors of Kedarnath Dham are closing for winter on Bhaiya Dooj i.e. 3rd November. The Panchmukhi Utsav idol of Baba Kedarnath reached the temple premises on Saturday morning. On this occasion, Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) President Ajendra Ajay was involved in the worship of the Panchmukhi Utsav idol. Earlier on Friday, CM Pushkar Dhami offered prayers at Shri Kedarnath Dham and also took feedback about the arrangements by talking to devotees from across the country, local shopkeepers and respected priests. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will be closed for winter at 08.30 am on the auspicious occasion of Bhaiya Dooj on 3rd November. After the closure of the doors, the Panchmukhi Utsav idol of Baba Kedarnath will reach the winter seat Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath after traveling at various stops.
In this sequence, the Panchmukhi idol of Lord Kedarnath was brought out of the store on Saturday. The Panchmukhi Utsav idol was bathed by priest Shivshankar Linga, Dharmadhikari Aunkar Shukla, Vedpathi Swayambar Semwal performed the puja and the devotees had darshan of the Panchmukhi Utsav idol. After circumambulating the temple, the Panchmukhi Utsav idol of Lord Kedarnath, Doli, was installed in the temple premises.
