Anantapur. South film actor Suman on Monday demanded strict action against those accused of adulterating the prasadam of Tirupati temple. He said that strict action should be taken against whoever has played with faith. The sentiments of Hindus have been tampered with, which cannot be accepted at any cost.

Let us tell you that Andhra CM N. Chandrababu Naidu had on September 18 alleged that animal fat was found in the ghee used to make laddus during the YSR Congress Party rule. CM had ordered investigation by SIT regarding this. At the same time, YSR Congress Party President and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy refuted Chandrababu Naidu’s claims, saying that he has lowered the prestige of Tirumala temple and hurt the sentiments of devotees by making false allegations.
A hearing regarding this matter is to be held in the Supreme Court today i.e. Monday. A bench of Justice BR Gavai and Justice KV Vishwanathan will hear the case. Subramaniam Swamy, YV Subbareddy and Vikram Sampath have filed a petition in the Supreme Court in this regard and have raised the demand for a judicial inquiry by forming a committee under the chairmanship of a former judge.
