There are clouds of trouble in Gujarat over seat sharing between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress.

Faizal, son of late Congress leader Ahmed Patel, has announced to contest elections from Bharuch seat. The special thing is that this seat has come to your account during the seat distribution.

Whereas, this is considered the traditional seat of the Patel family, where the Bharatiya Janata Party has been winning continuously for a long time.

Congress has decided to give two seats to AAP. These include Bharuch and Bhavnagar. Whereas, in Gujarat, Congress is preparing to contest elections on 24 seats.

Seat sharing has also taken place between Congress and AAP for Haryana, Goa, Chandigarh and Delhi. Both parties approved it on Saturday.

Speaking to Times of India, Faizal said, ‘Whatever happens, I will contest this parliamentary election.’

He told that this seat has an emotional attachment to the family, due to which despite the alliance between AAP and Congress, he has decided to contest elections from here. However, he has also refused to join BJP or any other party.

Faizal said that this seat can be won due to his continuous work in the area and the sentiments of the area. Patel was a political advisor to former Congress national president Sonia Gandhi.

He said, ‘I am getting calls from all over India. Not only party workers but also leaders are showing solidarity with me.

They are saying that when something like Bharuch can be given to some other party, what will happen to them, their party workers and their areas. I cannot weaken my father’s people. Whatever happens, I will contest this election.
