Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on NCP founder Sharad Pawar and said that the people of Maharashtra have been carrying and tolerating him for the last 50 years.
Addressing a public meeting in Jalgaon, Shah said that Narendra Modi has been running the central government for the last 10 years, which is full of achievements but the people of Maharashtra have been tolerating Sharad Pawar for the last 50 years. Shah said that leave 50 years, you give the account of only five years.
Shah also targeted Uddhav Thackeray, who is part of Mahavikas Aghadi, and said that today he is sitting in his lap, who always opposed Balasaheb Thackeray and his policies.
Along with this, Shah accused the parties included in the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) of ‘promoting dynasty’ and urged the youth to vote for those who will strengthen democracy. He asked how parties which promote “nepotism” within their organizations can strengthen the country’s democracy.
Shah said that giving a vote to BJP means voting ‘for India’ and making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time. He said that voting for BJP means voting for the bright future of the youth.
“(Prime Minister Narendra) Modi is trying to send a man to the moon, and Sonia Gandhi is trying to launch her son Rahul for the 20th time,” Shah said. She tried 19 times, but never succeeded in taking him to the destination.”
They said. “Sonia is trying to make Rahul the Prime Minister, Uddhav Thackeray wants to make his son Aditya Thackeray the Chief Minister, Sharad Pawar wants his daughter to be the Chief Minister, Mamata Didi wants to make her nephew the Chief Minister, and MK Stalin wants to make his son the Chief Minister. Shah alleged that India’s allies opposing Modi promote dynastic politics.
Shah challenged Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray to account for the tenure of the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi government and alleged that Maharashtra received only Rs 1,91,000 crore during the UPA rule from 2004 to 2014.
On the other hand, since the NDA government came to power at the Center in 2014, the state has received Rs 7,15,890 thousand crore till date. He informed that projects worth Rs 8,000 crore are going on in the state.
He also highlighted several welfare schemes launched by the Modi government in the last 10 years and claimed that the Modi government has done a lot of work compared to the previous governments.
