Mumbai . Today, on Sunday, Mahavikas Aghadi is protesting in Mumbai against the fall of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. It has been named Jode Maaro (hit with shoes) movement. MVA took out a foot march from Hutatma Chowk in South Mumbai to Gateway of India. Big leaders of all three parties of MVA including Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule, Nana Patole participated in it. During this, Uddhav hit the posters of CM Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar with a slipper. He said- Modi’s apology was full of arrogance. At the same time, Sharad Pawar said- the fall of the statue is an example of corruption.
Here, CM Shinde said that the opposition is doing politics on the issue. The public is watching everything. In the upcoming elections, the people of Maharashtra will beat them with shoes. BJP has also protested in Mumbai against the opposition’s demonstration. BJP leader Prasad Lad, who was protesting against MVA, said that we are expressing our love and respect for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Maha Vikas Aghadi is creating a narrative. We are protesting against that narrative. The opposition wants to take advantage of the elections.
Uddhav Thackeray said that whatever is happening in Maharashtra, I do not consider it politics. This mistake cannot be forgiven. To express our grief, we have chosen the Gateway of India. BJP has to be made to get out of India from here. Why did Modi apologize? He apologized for the statue falling or for the corruption in the statue. For what all will Modi apologize? In a hurry, he inaugurated the Ram temple for the elections, inaugurated the Parliament House, water is dripping from all of them.
