At present, Vande Bharat Express train has become the favorite train of all the passengers in the country. Indian Railways is currently running about 52 Vande Bharat Express. Apart from the northeastern states, these trains are covering all the states of the country. But now the Railways is going to make an important change related to safety in all these trains. This will make the journey of the passengers safe to a great extent.
Railway Ministry officials say that providing safety and security to passengers during travel is the first priority of Indian Railways. In this regard, Kavach 4.0 has been approved in place of Kavach 3.2 to prevent train accidents. Now Kavach 4.0 is being installed on railway trains, stations and tracks.
Currently, around 52 Vande Bharat Expresses are being run in the country. All these Vande Bharat trains have coach 3.2 but after Kavach 4.0 is approved, all Vande Bharat Expresses will be upgraded. This work will not take much time. Soon, work will start rapidly in this direction. Railways has so far installed Kavach system on 1,465 km of track. Kavach has also been installed on 121 engines. Agra division has prepared Kavach network on 80 km long section between Mathura (excluding station) and Palwal to test some engines and trains.
