Janman Sangi Prime Minister interacted with Mankunwari of village Kutma of Jashpur
When schemes like Ujjwala and PM Awas, Jal Jeevan Mission are made, what kind of pleasant change takes place in the lives of tribes like Pahari Korwa, who are called the adopted sons of the President, is narrated by the dialogue which the Prime Minister gave in a small village of Jashpur district. Done with Smt. Mankunwari Bai, a hill Korwa woman from Kutma.
Mankunwari told the Prime Minister that we are Pahari Korwa.
Coming down from the mountains, they would travel a distance of one or two kilometers to fetch water from the well. The water was very bad. How many times have you fallen ill? Now you have made arrangements for pure water.
It is noteworthy that the people of the hilly Korwa tribe, who are said to be the adopted sons of the President, were earlier deprived of even basic facilities like clean water.

The situation has changed a lot due to the schemes started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in view of basic facilities like food, clothing and housing. The Prime Minister is also monitoring it.
For the first time, a scheme PM Janman Yojana has been prepared for the overall development of special backward tribes across the country and the Prime Minister is directly monitoring its implementation. In this sequence, he talked to the beneficiaries of Bagicha tehsil.
Janaman Sangi Smt. Mankunwari Bai talked to him. The Prime Minister asked, now that you have a gas cylinder in your house, what has changed in your life?

Mankunwari Bai told that it has made a lot of difference. Wood was needed to cook food in the stove, for that one had to go to the forest to collect wood.
Then the stove would be lit and the food would be cooked for a long time, it would take so much time that by then one would have to see the children crying due to hunger. Due to this he was not able to go to school on time.
The Prime Minister is the head of the country and also communicates with great intimacy. He asked Mankunwari Bai that now that the gas cylinder has arrived, what dishes do you cook?
Mankunwari told that she makes Bhajiya and Dhuska. The beneficiaries sitting in the meeting who had availed the benefits of PM Janman Yojana realized how much the distance between Delhi and Jashpur’s Pahari Korwa settlement was reduced by such spontaneous communication.
Mankunwari told the Prime Minister that she is associated with Van Dhan Kendra and works as a clerk here. There are 12 members associated with his group.
The Prime Minister told Mankunwari Bai that you remember by heart the schemes which you have availed. If someone was an urban person he would have to look at the paper. It was great talking to you.
The Prime Minister also asked how you work as Janman Sangi. Mankunwari told that I go from door to door. I ask people which government schemes they have taken advantage of.
PM Janman Yojana is amazing. The work which has not been done in years is being done now.
A lot of changes are coming in everyone’s life. I congratulate you Prime Minister for this. The Prime Minister also congratulated him on this.
