New York. The Indian student arrested on charges of manipulating his documents to study in America will be sent back to India as per an agreement with the American authorities. The accused also prepared documents of fake death of his living father and then when the police in America caught him, all the secrets were revealed.
According to the information, a young man named Aryan Anand (19) had submitted fake documents for admission to Lehigh University in Pennsylvania in the academic session 2023-2024. A report in a newspaper published by the university students last month said that the police investigation revealed that Anand had manipulated documents for admission and financial help. He also falsely claimed the death of his living father to get admission and scholarship in the university. A case was filed against Anand in the court of Magisterial District Judge Jordan Nisley in this matter. Here Anand’s bail amount was stated to be 25 thousand US dollars as he was convicted of forgery. Along with this, it was told that he was also sentenced to one to three months. Now under an agreement, Anand will have to return to India. He has been released and handed over to the officials of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
