MD drugs worth Rs 3.5 crore seized in Ratlam – NNSP

Ratlam. Ratlam Police has exposed the interstate drug smuggling racket. Police have seized drugs and intoxicants worth Rs 3.5 crore from them. 3 kg MD drugs and 1.9 kg Doda powder have been recovered from the accused. The value of which has been quoted by the Narcotics Department as Rs 3.5 crore.
According to Ratlam Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar, this gang used to supply drugs in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. The police have arrested this gang on the information of an informer. These smugglers were planning to take a large consignment of drugs from Tal area to Mumbai. Based on the information, the police blocked the Tal-Nagda road and arrested the four accused with narcotics.
Among the arrested accused, Mohammad Nadeem, his wife Saba, Sultan Ahmed and Salman Mohammad have been arrested. All four are residents of Mumbai. The four accused were preparing to take the drugs to Mumbai. On the complaint of the informer, the police was successful in arresting them.
