The tension between Israel and Hezbollah is at its peak. Now Israel’s anger has reached the seventh sky due to the death material found in the houses of Lebanon.
Israel has claimed that Hezbollah has hidden dangerous weapons such as cruise missiles, rockets with large warheads and drones in Lebanese homes.
In this connection, Israel has also released some pictures, in one of which a long-range rocket is seen placed on a hydraulic launcher. After the release of these pictures, the Israeli army has intensified attacks against Hezbollah.
According to the Israeli army, they have targeted several dangerous weapons by attacking different parts of Lebanon. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant has said that Israel is destroying the infrastructure built by Hezbollah over the past 20 years.
So far, more than 1,600 air strikes have been carried out against Hezbollah targets, most of which are places where Hezbollah had hidden its weapons.
Israeli military spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, said Hezbollah had turned southern Lebanon into a war zone.
The Israeli army has warned Lebanese residents to leave areas where Hezbollah has hidden its weapons.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has assured the Lebanese citizens that their struggle is with Hezbollah, not with the Lebanese people. He appealed to the citizens to take steps to protect themselves and keep distance from Hezbollah.
According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, 558 people have died so far in Israeli air strikes, including 50 children and 94 women.
In addition, more than 1,835 people have been injured and thousands have left their homes and are looking for safer places. This is a very difficult time for the local people.
Beirut resident Hassan Omar says, “As long as we have a country like Israel next door, we cannot sleep safely.” Meanwhile, Afif Ibrahim, a taxi driver from southern Lebanon, expressed his anger towards Israel and said, “They (Israel) want to bow us down, but we only bow down to Allah.”
Meanwhile, UN human rights chief Volker Turk and White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan have stressed the need for diplomatic measures to reduce the conflict. Sullivan hopes that the tension between Israel and Lebanon can be resolved through dialogue.
