More than 39.50 lakh families got domestic tap connections in the state… – NNSP

Mahasamund district is the leader in providing maximum number of domestic tap connections.

The work of providing free domestic tap connections is being done rapidly in the rural areas of the state.

Under the campaign being run for supply of pure drinking water to homes under Jal Jeevan Mission in the state, 50 lakh 05 thousand 147 families are to be given domestic tap connections.

Under which currently 39 lakh 50 thousand 400 domestic tap connections have been given. Along with this, arrangements have been made to supply pure drinking water through tap taps in 43 thousand 924 schools, 41 thousand 663 Anganwadi centers and 17 thousand 319 Gram Panchayat buildings and community sub-health centers of the state.

In which Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh is leading in providing domestic tap connections to maximum 1 lakh 96 thousand 667 rural families.

Similarly, Raigarh district is at second and third place in providing domestic tap connections to 1 lakh 95 thousand 983 families and Janjgir-Champa district is at second and third place respectively in providing domestic tap connections to 1 lakh 82 thousand 437 families.

Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, which is being run under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and the guidance of Public Health Engineering Minister Arun Sao, pure drinking water is being provided at the rate of 55 liters per person per day in the state, for this an action plan has been prepared in all the districts. The work is being done at a fast pace.

Under this mission, apart from domestic tap connections, running water is also being provided in schools, sub-health centers and Anganwadi centres.

Along with the implementation of the works of Jal Jeevan Mission including Single Village Scheme and Multi Village Scheme and other drinking water schemes in the state at the grassroots level, Secretary Public Health Engineering Mohd. Constant monitoring is being done by Kesar Abdulhaq and Jal Jeevan Mission Director Dr. Sarveshwar Bhure.

जल जीवन मिशन के तहत अब तक बिलासपुर जिले में 1 लाख 78 हजार 664, रायपुर जिला 1 लाख 78 हजार 161, बलौदाबाजार-भाटापारा में 1 लाख 76 हजार 393, कवर्धा 1 लाख 63 हजार 198, धमतरी जिले में 1 लाख 52 हजार 233, बालोद में 01 लाख 49 हजार 510, बेमेतरा जिले में 1 लाख 48 हजार, मुंगेली में 1 लाख 46 हजार 906, जशपुर में 1 लाख 43 हजार 454, बस्तर में 1 लाख 41 हजार 925, कोरबा में 1 लाख 41 हजार 623, बलरामपुर में 1 लाख 39 हजार 229 तथा राजनांदगांव जिला 1 लाख 38 हजार 788 नल कनेक्शन दिए जा चुके हैं। इसी तरह दुर्ग 1 लाख 36 हजार 001, सक्ती में 1 लाख 32 हजार 005, गरियाबंद 1 लाख 30 हजार 025, सरगुजा जिले के 1 लाख 27 हजार 209, सांरगढ़-बिलाईगढ़ में 1 लाख 17 हजार 360, सूरजपुर में 1 लाख 14 हजार 619, कांकेर 1 लाख 09 हजार 494, कोण्डागांव में 1 लाख 871, गौरेला-पेंड्रा-मरवाही में 66 हजार 209, खैरागढ़-छुईखदान-गंडई में 61 हजार 703, मनेन्द्रगढ़-चिरमिरी-भरतपुर में 60 हजार 117, सुकमा में 45 हजार 838, मोहला-मानपुर-अंबागढ़ चौकी में 45 हजार 460, दंतेवाड़ा में 39 हजार 091, कोरिया में 37 हजार 522, बीजापुर 31 हजार 969, और नारायणपुर जिले में 21 हजार 736 ग्रामीण परिवारों को घरेलू नल कनेक्शन दिए जा चुके हैं।
