Hezbollah chief Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike, wanted a ceasefire with Israel before his death.
Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib said Nasrallah had agreed to a ceasefire just days before he was killed in the airstrike.
He said that he had also informed the American and French representatives about his decision of ceasefire.
In his interview with CNN, Habib said that Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah had agreed to a ceasefire of 21 days.
Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met with Nasrallah, in which he agreed to stop the war.
After this, Berry informed the American and French representatives that Hezbollah was ready for a ceasefire.
