NIA brings international gold smuggler Muniad Ali Khan to India

Jaipur. The National Security Agency (NEA) has brought international gold smuggler Muniyad Ali Khan to India. The accused gold smuggler has been brought to India from UAE by Interpol. The accused is involved in an international gold smuggling network. A red notice was issued against the accused some time back. After which many teams including NIA became active and in coordination with Abu Dhabi, the accused smuggler Khan was brought to India from UAE. NIA had filed a complaint against the accused on 22 September 2020. Accused Khan used to smuggle gold along with his associates. AIA team has taken Muniyad into custody at Jaipur airport.
The NIA had registered a case on September 22, 2020 in connection with the seizure of smuggled gold bars at Jaipur International Airport on July 3, 2020. During investigation, it was found that Khan, a red notice person, along with his co-accused had masterminded and planned the illegal smuggling of gold bars from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to India.
The accused along with his other accomplices had provided gold bars for smuggling from Riyadh to Jaipur, India. He is involved in international smuggling of gold from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Jaipur, India. The NIA had filed a chargesheet against the red notice person on 22 March 2021 before the NIA Special Court, Jaipur.
