Talking to news agency ANI, he said that invitations are being sent to other countries also for the consecration. He said around 100 heads of state from 55 countries, including ambassadors and parliamentarians, have been invited.
There is a lot of enthusiasm in Nepal also regarding the consecration ceremony of Ram temple. The festival will be celebrated with many cultural and religious programs here in Janakpur. Janakpur is considered to be the birthplace of Sita, wife of Lord Ram.
Another name of Sita is Janaki, who was the daughter of King Janak of Janakpur. It is located 220 kilometers southeast of Kathmandu and about 500 kilometers east of Ayodhya.
Former Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal Bimalendra Nidhi said, ‘Our daughter, Mata Janaki was married to Lord Ram. We are very excited and proud that Ramlala will be consecrated in Ayodhya. When the Supreme Court of India gave its final verdict, the people of Janakpur were very happy.
Mauritius also gave special leave to officials
At the same time, the Mauritius government has decided to give special leave of 2 hours to the public servants of Hindu religion to participate in the worship during the consecration ceremony.
The cabinet led by Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth issued a statement regarding this. It said, ‘The Cabinet has agreed to grant special leave for 2 hours to the public servants of Hindu religion in view of the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
This is a historic moment which marks the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya. The number of followers of Hinduism is highest in Mauritius.
In 2011, the Hindu population was about 48.5 percent. Mauritius is the only country in Africa where Hinduism is the most prevalent religion. In percentage terms the nation ranks third globally in the prevalence of Hinduism, behind Nepal and India.
