On the other hand, Rishabh Saraswat, President of the Coalition of Hindus of North America, thanked Pierre for this statement. He said, thank you for recognizing Hinduphobia in Canada.
He said, Pierre understood the challenges faced by Hindus in Canada. At least he mentioned that the Hindu community is facing hatred and attacks in Canada.
The Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce has also welcomed his statement. The organization’s president Kushagra Dutt Sharma said, Canadian Hindus are also a part of Canada.
They are entitled to all the rights like ordinary citizens. They have the right to live peacefully while practising their religion. Hindus cannot be driven out of the country by making false claims or threats in this manner.
