Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to work hard to win 370 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The PM said that this goal will be a true tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. The Prime Minister said this while addressing the meeting of BJP national officials held before the National Council meeting at Bharat Mandapam here.
The Prime Minister said that the target of taking BJP to 370 and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to 400 is not just a figure.
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had sacrificed his life to make Jammu and Kashmir an unbreakable and indivisible part of India. Every worker came forward to pay tribute to him and take it not as a statistic but as a tribute.
Giving information about the meeting of office bearers, BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde said that in the meeting, the Prime Minister said about the candidates of BJP and National Democratic Alliance that the election symbol of BJP will be ‘Lotus’ flower.
According to him, the Prime Minister has set a target for the workers to get 370 more votes at every booth in the upcoming elections than in the previous elections.
According to Tawde, the Prime Minister said that BJP workers at every booth should increase the votes received last time by at least 370 for the next 100 days.
He said that those who are first time voters should be motivated to vote in favor of BJP with all their might. Women should not be considered mere voters but should receive the blessings of mothers and sisters.
The Prime Minister said that the opposition will indulge in politics of ‘tu-tu-main-main’ and will raise the issue of unnecessary allegations. But we have to gain public support on the basis of poor welfare works and development achievements.
