Every Tuesday, hygiene kits were distributed by the organization to new born children at Jhalkari Bai Hospital in Hazratganj.
Mothers were given information about the benefits of breastfeeding. And were also made aware about the correct method of breastfeeding.
Information was given about the disadvantages of using cloth during menstruation and information was also given about how to avoid many diseases by using sanitary pads.
After delivery, the mother was also told about the benefits of green vegetables and fruits and consuming something every hour.
Under the hygiene kit, 1 pair of new clothes, hand towel, sanitary pad, fresh fruits, face mask, soap, shampoo, packet of biscuits etc. were also distributed to the mothers and children. Happiness could be clearly seen on the faces of people receiving small gifts.
Everyone accepted the information with a very good heart and also thanked that all this information would be beneficial for their child’s future and their health.
