The work of renewal of all 77 lakh ration cards currently prevalent under the public distribution system in Chhattisgarh has been extended till 25 February 2024.
In view of the convenience of the people, Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Dayal Das Baghel had given instructions to the Food Department to extend the date for online renewal application of the missed ration card holders on priority basis.
Food Department Director Jitendra Shukla has given guidelines in this regard to the collectors of all the districts.
A new mobile app of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has been prepared by the Food Department for ration card renewal, it can be downloaded by going to the Play Store.

Ration card holders can submit electronic application for renewal online through this app in their mobile.
For those beneficiaries who do not have Android mobile or where there is no mobile connectivity, the facility of submitting electronic application for renewal of ration cards through online process at the fair price shop level is also being provided.
