The chief priest of Ayodhya Ram temple has expressed displeasure over the statement of Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray.
He says that invitations to the function have been sent only to ‘Ram devotees’.
Apart from this, he has also targeted Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut and accused him of insulting Lord Ram. Thackeray said that he has not received the invitation for the inauguration ceremony of Ram temple.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Acharya Satyendra Das said, ‘Invitations have been sent only to those who are devotees of Lord Ram.
It is completely wrong to say that Bharatiya Janata Party is fighting in the name of Lord Ram.
Our Prime Minister is getting respect everywhere. He has done a lot of work during his tenure. This is not politics. This is his dedication.
During this, he also raised questions on Raut’s statement. Acharya said, ‘Sanjay Raut is in so much pain that he cannot even express it. He was the one who contested elections in the name of Lord Ram.
Those who believe in Lord Ram, who are in power, what kind of nonsense are they talking? He is insulting Lord Ram. Actually, Raut had said that now all that is left for BJP is to make Lord Ram its candidate.
Raut had said, ‘The Prime Minister’s Office and the government should shift their base to Ayodhya. They will only ask for votes in the name of Ram, because they have not done anything else.
He said, ‘Balasaheb Thackeray and thousands of Shiv Sainiks have contributed in this.’ On January 22, Ramlala is going to be seated in the newly built temple of Ayodhya.
