Our own people are getting angry, Hamas is not getting proper treatment; Double challenge in front of Benjamin Netanyahu…

Amidst the war against Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has faced a double challenge.

On the one hand, resentment among loved ones has started increasing due to the hostages not being released. On the other hand, at the moment there is no sign of the war against Hamas ending.

That means he has still failed to find a cure for Hamas. Amidst all this, the anger of the families of the people taken hostage by Hamas is continuously increasing.

Angry family members demonstrated outside the house of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday.

Protesters say the Netanyahu government is not making any efforts to free hundreds of Israelis held hostage by Hamas.

At the same time, the war in Gaza is prolonging. It is noteworthy that in this war which started with the attack of Hamas on October 7, a large number of people have been killed so far from both the sides.

beg for mercy
A group of hostage families said that they have been begging for mercy for 105 days. Now we demand from the government that decisive steps should be taken to free the hostages.

Meanwhile, a member of the Israeli War Cabinet has said that the only way to free the hostages is ceasefire. Due to this comment, Israel’s current strategy is being criticized a lot.

It has been four months since the war between Hamas and Israel. The way the demonstration has taken place outside Prime Minister Netanyahu’s house and the way former Israeli Army chief Gadi Eysenket has commented, shows that all is not well within Israel regarding the war.

double pressure
It is noteworthy that the Israeli government is facing conflicting pressures regarding the war against Hamas. On the one hand, he wants to please his right-wing allies by intensifying the war.

On the other hand, there are some other pressures on Netanyahu. This includes pressure from America to the families of the hostages.

All of them fear that if the war prolongs, the lives of the hostages may be in danger.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli leadership says that it will continue the fight against Hamas until complete victory. However, he has not made it clear what his strategy will be for this.

Meanwhile, ‘United Nations Women’, an agency working for women, has said that 16,000 women and children have been killed in the ongoing war between Israel and Gaza.

The agency said in one of its reports that it is estimated that two mothers are dying every hour. According to this, due to more than 100 days of conflict, at least 3000 women have lost their husbands and at least 10,000 children have lost their fathers.

In the report released on Friday, the agency mentioned the problems that women face when leaving conflict areas with children.

According to the report, the population of the area is 23 lakh. Of these, about 19 lakh people are displaced, including about one million women and girls, who are in search of shelter and protection.
