Hisar. Amidst Haryana elections, Dera Sachcha Sauda Mukhi Ram Rahim was released from jail at 6 am on Wednesday. Ram Rahim has got 20 days parole with 3 conditions. Which also includes not holding political programs.
However, as soon as Ram Rahim came out, the political game of the camp has started. In celebration of Ram Rahim’s parole, Dera has organized name discussions in every block of Haryana. Which will run till Wednesday and Thursday. Voting will take place in the state on October 5. It is believed that during the name discussion itself, the message of Ram Rahim will be conveyed to the devotees from the Dera as to whom they should support inside.
It is a different matter that Dera always refuses to support any one party in elections, but seeing the timing of parole, opponents keep raising questions about it. If the voters of the camp are one-sided then it can have an impact on those seats where there is a close contest between the two candidates and especially between BJP and Congress.
Election Commission sources say that the Haryana government has been told that if Ram Rahim violates the code of conduct or the conditions, then the parole will be canceled immediately. Voting will be held in Haryana on October 5. The result will come on 8th October. For this reason, Ram Rahim’s parole is being linked to the elections. 36 seats in Haryana are the vote bank of the devotees associated with the Dera. Ram Rahim is serving sentence in Rohtak jail in sexual exploitation and murder case. During parole, Ram Rahim will stay in Barnawa Ashram located in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh.
