Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on phone on Sunday and inquired about his health.
In fact, while speaking at an election rally in Jammu, Kharge had complained of dizziness and had to be provided medical aid.
Congress general secretary Ghulam Ahmed Mir said, ‘Kharge was addressing a public rally in Jasrota when he felt uneasy and started feeling dizzy.
His colleagues helped him sit on the chair. Kharge had gone to Jasrota to address a rally to garner support for his party’s candidates in the assembly elections.
Jammu and Kashmir Congress Vice President Ravindra Sharma said that Kharge was feeling dizzy. He was taken to a room, where doctors were called to examine him.
He told that the doctor will advise whether he can attend the second rally to be held in Udhampur or not. Later, Kharge’s second rally to be held in Udhampur was cancelled.
They will return to Delhi. At the Jasrota rally, Kharge said, ‘I wanted to talk. But due to dizziness I have sat down. Please forgive me. They (BJP) are trying to terrorize us.
Kharge said- I am not going to die so soon
After receiving medical aid at the rally site, Mallikarjun Kharge said, ‘We will fight to restore statehood. Whatever happens, we are not going to give it up.
I’m 83 years old, I’m not going to die that soon. I will remain alive until Modi is removed from power. I will listen to you.
Will fight for you. He expressed his resolve to fight for restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and said he would remain active in politics until Prime Minister Modi is ousted from power.
