Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on October 20. During this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 1300 crore. Which includes the laying of the foundation stone of a project worth Rs 900 crore and the inauguration of a project worth Rs 460 crore. The district administration has started preparing for the arrival of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister will also address two public meetings during his visit. Tight security arrangements have been made during his five and a half hour visit.
Regarding the Prime Minister’s program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stayed in Varanasi for two days and took stock of the preparations for the PM’s arrival. He has instructed the officials that there should be no shortage of preparations. Along with this, party officials and administrative officials have been instructed to ensure public participation on the arrival of PM Modi. Kashi region president Dilip Patel said that the PM will arrive at Babatpur airport on October 20 at around 12:30 pm where he will be given a grand welcome.
Inauguration of Shankar Nethralaya
During his visit, PM Modi will first inaugurate the 17th center of Shankar Nethralaya at Tulsipatti, Hariharpur on October 20. The Prime Minister will stay here for about two hours and will interact with about 1000 distinguished people invited by the trust that runs the hospital.
While giving information about this project, Divisional Commissioner Kaushalraj Sharma said that the people of Purvanchal and Bihar including Varanasi will benefit from this hospital. PM will also lay the foundation stone of Babatpur Airport Terminal and other airport projects during his visit.
Varanasi Development Authority has completed development work in Sarnath at a cost of Rs 90 crore, which includes construction of roads, sewage system and other facilities. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of these projects during his stay in Kashi.
PM Modi will inaugurate the Varanasi Sports Complex prepared at a cost of Rs 200 crore. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of other projects from here. Here Modi will address a gathering of 20,000 people. After this, we will go back to Delhi from Babatpur at around six o’clock.
