Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a three-day visit to the US. He attended the Quad summit in Wilmington, Delaware, President Joe Biden’s home state, and then left for New York.

PM Modi will address Indians in Long Island, New York. About 14 thousand people are expected to attend this program.

PM Modi will address the Indian diaspora at the Knaus Veterans Memorium Coliseum. The event has been named ‘Modi and US: Progress Together’.

The organizers of this program say that this program is a symbol of the warmth of the American-Indian community. The people of the Indian community living in America are also very enthusiastic about the program.

Around 13200 people are going to participate in this program which will showcase the diversity of India. There are more than 500 welcome partners of this program.

Apart from this, 500 karaakars will exhibit their art. 150 media persons from about 85 institutions will participate in the program. India’s art and culture will be showcased in this program.

A cultural program has also been organized outside the venue in which 117 artists will perform. There will be around 30 classical, folk and fusion performances in the program.

Let us tell you that about 51 lakh people of Indian community live in America. 70 percent of them are graduates which is almost double the national average of America.

Despite being 1.5 percent of the total population of America, people of Indian community pay 5 to 6 percent tax.

After reaching America, he was welcomed by the people of the Indian community at the Philadelphia airport. People dressed in Indian attire were standing to welcome him when he arrived.

PM Modi greeted the people who came to welcome him. He shook hands with many people and also gave autographs.

At the same time, Biden welcomed Modi at his residence in Wilmington, Delaware and both the leaders hugged each other. After this, Biden held Modi’s hand and took him inside his house where bilateral talks took place.
