Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed his DP on social media account X.
The Prime Minister also launched the campaign by putting the national flag as his profile picture (DP) on various social media platforms.
He urged people to do the same. Before the 77th Independence Day, he has also given a special message to the citizens of the country.
PM Modi has appealed to all the citizens to put the tricolor in their DP. Along with this, make every home tricolor a memorable mass movement. PM Modi wrote in his post on Instagram that Independence Day is coming closer.
We should make the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan memorable. I am changing my DP. I appeal to all of you to also change your DP and join me in this special campaign.
The third edition of the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan will be celebrated from August 9 to August 15. Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat gave this information on Thursday. The minister appealed to the people to hoist the tricolor on their homes.
Take a selfie with it and upload it on the Har Ghar Tiranga portal. The special attraction of this campaign will be the Tiranga Bike Rally, in which members of Parliament will also participate. This rally will be held in Delhi on August 13. This rally will start from Bharat Mandapam and will pass through India Gate and conclude at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium.
The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has asked party workers to hold rallies across the country to make the campaign a success.
BJP workers also organize many programs during this period. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid tribute to those who participated in the Quit India Movement and said that it was indeed a historic moment in our freedom struggle.
The Quit India Movement was started in the country under the leadership of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and this movement played an important role in getting freedom from the British. The country became independent on 15 August 1947, five years after the movement started.
