Police was surprised at Abdul Malik’s house, kept counting the goods and cash till midnight…

After receiving the order to confiscate property against Haldwani violence mastermind Abdul Malik, the administration team started action on Friday.

The team that arrived with police and paramilitary forces kept assessing the property in Malik’s house from noon to midnight.

Abdul Malik, resident of line number eight of Vanbhoolpura, is being said to be the mastermind of the Haldwani violence. At present, he and the other accused in this case, Malik’s son Abdul Moeed, are absconding.

Following the court order, on Friday a team with heavy force reached Abdul Malik’s residence on line number 8.

The team started its action at around 3 pm. The team that went in with the expectation that the action would be completed in three to four hours, probably did not realize that it would be midnight by the time they could complete the investigation at the place where they had reached to take action.

According to sources, till 11.30 pm, the team kept assessing the list and value of a large number of valuables, expensive household items and other things found at Abdul Malik’s house. The police avoided sharing information about the action.

According to the information, cash has also been recovered from Malik’s house, official confirmation has not been made yet by the administration or police. Police will also investigate on Saturday. Police force was also deployed during the attachment of Malik’s house.

This type of goods was confiscated
During this time, as soon as they entered the house, the police seized valuables ranging from doormats and carpets lying on the floor to ceiling fans, cup-plates, utensils, glass, aluminum, plastic etc. kept in the kitchen. After this, valuable showpieces, watches etc. hanging on the walls were confiscated. Then the police looked at the valuable furniture kept in the house.

The bed, sofa, chair, other expensive wooden items and bed mattresses kept in Malik’s house were also seized by the police. The curtains and other decorative items installed there were also taken down. Electronics items were also seized.

The attachment action taken at Malik’s house on the orders of the court started from noon on Friday and continued till late night. The action has not been completed yet and will take place on Saturday also. The assessment of the value of the goods is ongoing.
