Politics is now intensifying over Delhi’s Sunehri Bagh Masjid.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi has also appealed to the Muslims to remain alert and united by mentioning the Sunehri Bagh Mosque.
In fact, as the time for the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is approaching, Owaisi has given a provocative statement and appealed to the youth of the Muslim community to be cautious of the activities being carried out by the BJP-led Center and said That mosques should remain inhabited in the country.
Regarding Babri Masjid, Owaisi said that the place where the Holy Quran was read for the last 500 years is no longer in his hands.
Owaisi said, “Youth, I am telling you, we have lost our mosque and you are seeing what is being done there. Don’t you have pain in your heart?”
The AIMIM president said at an event in Bhavani Nagar, Hyderabad, “The place where we sat and read the Quran for 500 years is no longer in our hands. Youth, don’t you see that there is a conspiracy going on in three-four more mosques, which also includes Delhi’s Sunehri Bagh Mosque. After years of hard work we have achieved our position today. You have to pay attention to these things.”
Muslim youth will have to remain alert and united: Owaisi
AIMIM Chief further said that Muslim youth have to remain alert and united. Owaisi said, “Maintain your support and strength. Keep your mosques populated.
It is possible that these mosques may be taken away from us. I hope that today’s youth, who will be tomorrow’s old man, will keep their eyes forward and think seriously about how they can help themselves, their families, their city, and their neighborhoods. Unity is a strength, unity is a blessing.”
According to temple officials, the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya will begin from January 16 and continue for seven days. On the last day, on January 22, after the morning puja, the idol of Ram Lala will be consecrated in the afternoon in ‘Mrigashira Nakshatra’.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Ram temple in Ayodhya on August 5, 2020. It is noteworthy that in 2019, the Supreme Court’s decision on the Ayodhya dispute had paved the way for the construction of a grand Ram temple.
Following the Supreme Court’s decision, the Center had set up the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to take all decisions regarding the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.
