To further improve coordination in the NDA coalition government at the Centre, BJP President JP Nadda held informal discussions with leaders of various parties on Friday evening.
Leaders of most of the parties were present in this meeting held over high tea. During this, it was agreed that such meetings will be held every month.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier suggested that there should be better coordination, synergy and meetings at regular intervals at the top level among the constituent parties of the NDA. In this sequence, this was the first meeting after the Parliament session ended.
According to sources, in the meeting of NDA leaders, there was discussion on improving the coordination and synergy among all the parties so that the leaders of the alliance are seen speaking in one voice on important issues.
In the meeting, there was talk of speaking in one voice on development and welfare schemes related to the public. Along with this, it was also decided that such meetings should be held at regular intervals.
According to sources, now such meetings will definitely take place at least once every month.
In this meeting chaired by BJP President JP Nadda, Union Ministers Bhupendra Yadav, Kiren Rijiju and L. Murugan and many other leaders including the party’s National General Secretary Arun Singh were present from the BJP side. According to sources, Kiren Rijiju briefed all the parties on the Northeast and Bhupendra Yadav on ‘One Country One Election’.

From the allies, leaders including Ram Mohan Naidu and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar from TDP, Sanjay Jha from JDU, Chirag Paswan from Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Jitan Ram Manjhi from Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), HD Kumaraswamy from JDS, Anupriya Patel from Apna Dal (S) and Jayant Chaudhary from RLD also attended the event.
