Prime Minister Narendra Modi is conducting special 11-day rituals before the consecration ceremony of Ram temple.

During this time they have to follow some special religious rules. According to India Today report, PM Modi is chanting a special mantra every day these days.

Quoting sources it was told that a great saint associated with the spiritual world has given this mantra to the Prime Minister.

The report said that PM Modi wakes up every day in Brahma Muhurta and chants this mantra for 1 hour, 11 minutes. Chanting of this mantra is considered mandatory during the 11-day ritual.

It is known that generally the time of Brahma Muhurta is considered to be between 4 to 5.30 in the morning. This period is considered very auspicious in Hindu religion.

Sources said that PM Modi will keep chanting this special mantra every day till January 22. Earlier, it was revealed that the Prime Minister is sleeping on a blanket on the floor as per a special religious tradition and is drinking only coconut water.

Quoting sources it was told that Modi is worshiping cow and doing cow service. Apart from this, he is also donating food and other things. Besides, he is also donating clothes as per the scriptures.

PM Modi offered prayers at Sri Ranganathaswamy temple today
As a true Ram devotee, PM Modi has visited many temples in the last few days. Prominent among them are Ramkund and Sri Kalaram Temple in Nashik, Veerabhadra Temple in Lepakshi in Andhra Pradesh and Tiruprayar Sri Ramaswamy Temple in Kerala. In this series, PM Modi today offered prayers at the famous Sri Ranganathaswamy temple in Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli.

After this he will also offer prayers at Ramanathaswamy temple in Rameshwaram. He will also listen to the recitation of Kamba Ramayana by various scholars in Srirangam.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Rameshwaram in the afternoon. During this time he will have darshan and worship in the temple and listen to bhajans.

Srirangam Temple is also known as Bologa Vaikuntham or Vaikuntham on Earth.
